Tiara Day and the Birthday Girls!

Happy Birthday to Lois and Christy!!! Both of their birthday's fall on May 24th, which, by no coincidence according to Mom, happens to be National Tiara Day. The Ladies therefore had their birthday in style with crowns, tiara decorations, a big store sale, and, of course, lots of pink. We all had a lot of fun, and a great big thank you to all of our great customers who were able to come in and share the day. There are some pretty great customers at Memories a la Mode!!!

We were all very happy to see our friend Kathy Bohman!! She came and spent the day with us - what a treat! Some of you may remember Kathy as an instructor at Memories a la Mode, or as a fantastic art teacher here in Frankfort, and we have missed her since she moved to Florida a few years back! Tobi, above, and Bruce, below, got their picture snapped while talking with Kathy.

Some of our customer's played "pin the diamond on the tiara" for prizes - it was so much fun to watch everyone try their best to place that diamond sticker on the crown! Everyone was laughing and having a great time!

We had free make'n take layouts and cards for our customers to make, and a LOT of people wanted to make them! We ran out of supplies twice!! Yeah for everyone getting in the spirit of creating!
Our sweet friend Bev and many others loved taking advantage of all the great birthday sales we had on Saturday!
