Yummy Recipes
Ok, I have been a slacking blogger the past few weeks, I admit it.....well, I will try to not let it happen again, and here are some fun fun recipes courtesy of Sweetwater to tempt your tastebuds in the coming holiday months.....
The first one is Oatmeal Spice Cake
from Country Fair Cookbook
2/3 cup favorite preserves or jam
Heat over to 375 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of 8x8x2 or 9x9x2 pan. Mix all ingredients except preserves until crumbly. Press 2/3 of crumb mixture into pan. Spread preserves, then sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over top, pressing lightly.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until light golden brown. Let cool approximately one hour.
