Fun with ATC's

The punch used is the Whale of a Punch heart by EK Succes - is really looks good used so many ways - even turned sideways as wings! Its hard to tell from these pictures, but taking painty pens and doodling on the ATCs gave it a great look too.
These last three ATCs are not all finished yet byt I had to show you that the backgrounds were paper towels! Paula took dye ink spray misters (we have several kinds in the store) and make beautiful backgrounds from simple paper towels! Using the inks that add shimmer gives that the very best look (in my opinion) and once dry I took a glue stick and easily adhered them to the black chipboard rectangle. You can then stamp over top of them for an even more layered look!
Happy New Year Everyone!

Wow, I am glad to be back posting. I feel out of the loop having been pretty sick the past few months, and even had to go back to the hospital. I have been home for a few days, and I wanted to tell you about a great present I received while I was sitting in that hospital bed last week! My friend Paula Hardesty came to visit me (present quite enough, yes sirree) but she brought with her the makings if little heart valentine ATC's all ready cut and ready to play (thanks Gaye for punching all the hearts!) and it was such good medicine when I was feeling strong to get to sit and create! She even left me her ink pads and painty pens and glues overnight!
