Memories a la Mode receives Unique Business Award!

Memories a la Mode and Thirteen other local Frankfort Businesses
receive "A Frankfort, Kentucky Unique Business" Award

The Coalition of Unique Business Enterprises (CUBE), a group devoted to the support and promotion of the unique businesses in the Frankfort. Franklin County Area, has awarded a group of local businesses its coveted “A Frankfort, Kentucky Unique Business” Award.

In order for a business to be recognized by this group, the business is required meet the following criteria: 1) locally owned and operated, 2) not a part or associated with a “chain”, regional or national business, 3) makes a significant contribution to the character of Frankfort commerce, 4) attracts both local and tourist type customers, 5) is unique in its business model and commercial offerings, 6) contributes positively to the Coalition of Unique Business Enterprises group, 7) cooperates with other businesses to promote one another, 8) is energetic and enthusiastic about the variety of unique businesses Frankfort has to offer and 9) operates a business that is complementary and compatible with other unique businesses.
